The 2018 Maruti Swift is set to become the fastest selling car in India. Maruti Suzuki has received more than 90,000 bookings for the all-new small hatchback in less than 2 months, as per a report from The Economic Times.
Maruti Suzuki executives have told the business publication that the bookings would cross 1,00,000 units within a week at the rate at which they are seeing the numbers grow. The demand is so high that the car is running into a waiting period of 4-5 months at Suzuki’s Gujarat plant.
Maruti Suzuki offers the all-new Swift in 12 different configurations. Noteworthy features include LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, pillar-mounted rear door handles, LED tail lamps, leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking sensors and reverse parking camera. ABS with EBD and BA, dual-front airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchorages as standard.
