The All New Maruti Dzire and Swift have registered a great sales growth in June 2018. It was India’s best-selling cars last month.

The Maruti Dzire was India’s best selling sedan last year. In June 2018, sales were at 24,465 units, a growth of 103% Y-o-Y (June 2017: 12,049 units).

The Maruti Swift’s sales have spiked since the launch of the third generation model in February 2018. In the pre-launch month, it registered 14,445 units. The next month, the number rose to 17,291 units. In June 2018, Maruti Suzuki sold 18,171 units, 84% more than in June 2017 (9,902 units). Close competitor, Hyundai i20’s sales, grew just 6% Y-o-Y to 11,262 units last month (June 2017: 10,609 units).
